Impact is a fun-filled, four day retreat for incoming freshmen designed to give students their first glimpse of the body of Christ at Texas A&M and Blinn. The retreat is held at Latham Springs in Aquilla, Texas.
Applications release in three separate waves, first opening for Co-Chairs. Each camp has a single male and a single female Co-Chair assigned to lead the administrative aspects of the ministry.
Next, applications open for Prayer Team. Each camp has a single male and a single female Prayer Teamer assigned to support the Co-Chairs and Counselors in prayerful preparation for the freshmen. Prayer Teamers also lead many aspects of direct prayer over the freshmen, and remain in prayer over the freshmen and staff for 24 hours a day throughout the entire August retreat.

Finally, applications open for Counselors. Each camp has a total team of 14 Counselors – 7 male and 7 female counselors (to disciple male and female freshmen, respectively). Counselors represent the front line of Impact's ministry, serving in the ministry with the sole purpose of positioning themselves to support the incoming freshmen of Texas A&M and Blinn. They seek to serve the freshmen in all aspects of adjusting to college life, and remain in prayer and service for the freshmen throughout the entirety of their transition to college life.
